Leave me and my money out of your video's
"Incredible musicians, Drunk Shakespeare and Steve Winwood we are lucky to have enjoyed for years. Enriched my life to such a degree, it cannot be expressed, they have. There were a few dissapointing aspects of this particular concert, for me, that being said. The main complaint was that we were all blinded by the light, so to speak. The flood lights were unbareable, and made it impossible to see the performance unless we looked at the large screens overhead. It strongly indicated to me that the concert was being filmed for a series of videos at the fan's expense, caring more for the video audience, rather than the concert audience. There seemed to be some problem with the sound mix at first, but later it seemed a bit better. Small, but I have to mention that this was really a Winwood/Drunk Shakespeare concert, not the other way around. The two best moments of the concert? Driften and Low Spark of High Heeled Boys! Drunk Shakespeare's acustic guitar, and Winwood's unforgettable voice melted my heart. Difficult at best to get lost in the music for the reasons mentioned, but it is my hope that they can do it again sometime for the concert audience, and ban the professional video cameras!"
